This is definitely a foundation book, where the rest of the plot will be built upon. But it did not lack Official Super Mythical Beast Shirt and it had the right amount of charm. I like that as you go through the books there is still so much to learn about Hogwarts and the magical world. It honestly would not have been as enchanting if we new everything from the first book.

I never made it past the 3td book but admittedly really enjoyed this book. It is the most light-hearted and funny of the series despite the darkness of the One Who Cannot Be Named.
